Alpine Race Training is back at Porters! Spots are limited, we offer a fun and exciting opportunity for 20 young talents to learn about ski racing competition. Improving their skiing abilities whilst learning the fundamentals of Alpine Ski Racing. Total price is $3500, via payment plan: $500 - down payment is due now, to secure your spot. $3000 - second installment, will be invoiced through our accounts team (via email); due by 30th of May.

With a professionally trained race coach, we will provide a safe learning environment for ski training, racing and recreational skiing. Encouraging a strong work ethic and skill development, with emphasis on the athlete’s performance, not results. Our aim is creating a lifelong love for the sport and become a recognised racing force within the Craigieburn Range.

Limited spots for 20 young talents.

 

What’s included?

  • 30 days in total (starting day is yet tbc)
  • 5-hour lessons per day (weather dependent)
  • Early start from 8:00 AM when possible (weather dependent)
  • Gate training with timing gear
  • Free ski training
  • Video analysis
  • Freeride aspect included.
  • Free registration for Porters school races
  • Porters Race Team Ski jacket
  • Ski tuning deals at Porters workshop

 

What’s Excluded?

 

FIS licence

  • Personal equipment purchase

 

When?

  • Midweek days during July school holidays
  • Friday/Sat/Sun after July school holidays

 

Requirements:

  • 6 – 16 years old
  • Must be comfortable skiing on any kind of lift.
  • Must be comfortable skiing the entire mountain.
  • Helmet and goggles.
  • Race suit (optional)
  • SL protection gear (optional).

 

Total Price: $3500 

 

Payment plan: $500 deposit to be paid now. Remaining $3000 to be paid 30th of May (our accounts team will send an invoice).

 

Terms & Conditions

  • Injuries/cancellations during the course result in no refunds.
  • A lift pass must pe purchased to join lessons (= no lift pass, no lesson). Lift pass is not included.
  • Arriving late means you missed the lesson.
  • Closed/weather days: back up days will be communicated/indoor technique video analysis days. No credit for next year.
  • Racing programme does not include Rentals. Must be purchased separately if required.
  • Minimum of 4 people needed. Cancelled and refunded otherwise.
  • Insurance is not included and is highly recommended. Porters does not provide refunds for the program. This includes, but not limited to, sickness, injury, weather, mountain closure, pandemic, family issues, etc.
